Lighthouse Super Moon
The Super Moon rises above the Jupiter Light House in south Florida. This full moon is the largest since 1948. What's more, the full moon won't come this close to Earth again until Nov. 25, 2034, according to a statement from NASA. The moon's orange color is due to the scattering of light by the atmosphere. When the moon is near the horizon, the moonlight must pass through much more atmosphere than when the moon is directly overhead.
